2018 started with reality checks coming in from left and right ( Okay maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit), but that’s what it felt like. I’m not the type of person who normally does new year’s resolutions or yearly goals because I always forget about them.
This year, however, I decided to get my shit together and try to at least manage my time better.
If you know me personally, you’ll know I’m always late to almost everything, I always cancel out on events/ coffee dates etc, which is not always a good thing, so like any normal millennial I went on social media looking for inspiration and one of my favorite local bloggers on Insta Rachael Williams literally said the same thing and she started by getting a planner to plan her year etc.
I personally did not do that, well I got a planner but instead of planning out my year, I decided it would be smarter and I’m most likely to stick to it if I planned my month. So that’s what I did. It’s a small step to most but to me, that’s a big step in the right direction.
